This tea is beyond any words. It’s not just a drink anymore. It’s medicine, powerful medium and rare part of history.

Bit of History first:

During the cultural revolution in China 1966-1976 country was in turmoil and most of the tea factories were being confiscated or shut down completely. Most of the teas produced were classic Kunming bricks or simple loose tea stored in the hemp or bamboo mat bags. There were very few cakes produced that time. Between the collectors these loose teas are usually referred as “cultural revolution period”

*please note I’m only referring to cultural revolution here purely as a historical fact and time period.

This tea was collected in Menghai area, I believe from old, small leaf type tea tress. If it would be tea from border area leaves would be much bigger in size.

If this tea would be pressed into cakes which was mot likely its original purpose, it would be definitely very high premium material, most likely pressed by some big factory.

Energy of this tea is absolutely incredible. Tea is fully aged and mature at its peak and energy (Qi) is surprisingly powerful.

Taste is beautifully refine with sweet woody notes. Storage was dry and clean and you can feel somebody took really good care of it for all the decades.

It's original packing was simple hemp bag of about 40KG which unfortunately fell apart so it was repackaged into a more modern plastic bags as shown on pictures.

It’s generally getting very difficult to find teas of this age and quality. It’s mostly by faith as this is much more precious medicine than just regular tea.

It's suitable for special occasion with friends who can appreciate or for meditation session as this tea deserves some attention and respect.
