The quality of this 1970s Liu An is one of the most exceptional and unique teas I've tasted.

After it went through a half century journey it's fully mature, exceptionally clean, elegant, and full of complex characteristics.

Drinking this tea one can easily forget we are still in the realm of tea and not in the one of mysticism and old times Chinese Medicine.

The brew is thick in texture with notes of dark wood, incense, and molasses. It can be felt in the whole mouth and throat. After a few cups there is radiating warmth coming from the stomach and Qi is moving up and down simultaneously. No caffeine left anymore so it can be easily enjoyed at night. Strongly medicinal tea full of old times charm and mystery.

*Please note* this tea is heavily affected by the tea worm which is a type of silk worm. This type of worm naturally appears in tropical parts of Asia and it loves to feed on tea and some types of tea packaging. Its absolutely safe and naturally occurring phenomena widely appreciated by old tea lovers in Taiwan. It gives assurance tea was not treated with pesticide plus dragon pearls have strong health benefits. It contains various essential amino acids, crude protein, crude fat, tannins, vitamins, and trace elements. It helps to regulate qi, resolve phlegm, relieve bloating, quench thirst, refresh the mind, and promote digestion.

(For western tea friends this could be perhaps compared to civet coffee)

Please consider if this is acceptable for you.

Original bamboo basket was also decomposed and fell apart therefore it comes in a plastic wrapper.
