Landscape box is an iconic LiuBao produced from 1970s and its being produced to this days.
There are many versions but luckily with each edition package design changed a bit which gives us some references in which year was each tea produced.
 
First edition Landscape Box was produced in 1970s as attempted to reach wider customer base mainly in Malaysia and other southeast Asian countries. 
In the old days LiuBao was mainly sold in large 30KG baskets and was difficult to buy whole basket for small consumers, therefore idea of breaking it into smaller pieces was introduced and 500g Landscape box was born.
 
First version box was introduced in 1970s. Second in 1980s. Third, fourth and fifth edition were introduced in 1990s following by sixth version in 2007. 
I’m happy to introduce 5th edition here falling into period between 1997-1999. 
 
Taste is slightly lighter so you can be more generous with amount of leaves in the teapot. It delivers very clean and satisfying experience. Session doesn't go infinitely long but over all this is very clean and relatively affordable aged LiuBao with everything this beautiful category of tea can offer.
