Camelia Formosensis also know as SHAN CHA (mountain tea) is an endemic tea plant probably well know for millennia by Taiwan Indigenous People.
 
It has very beautiful and charming taste and aroma. Each harvest make only several kilos so each batch is slightly different so I go to the mountain several times a year to select the batch I like the most.
 
*most recent batch is not so much on the aromatic side but it’s it has strong bottom and has unique oily and silky quality.
