Cui Fei or 'Concubine' oolong is a bug bitten type of tea, bitten by small cicadas, naturally occurring in pesticide free tea gardens around Taiwan. This cicada gives tea leaves additional honey-like aroma. So bug bitten teas are also referred to as honey scent tea. It's pleasant, very charming and long lasting. Light to medium roasting over longan charcoal is not to obvious but it gives it extra layer of charm, warmth and calming effect.
