In Taiwanese ‘Lao Te’ means ‘old tea’.
Character ‘Lao’ means old, while character ‘Te’ is composed of two different characters, Tree and King.
First edition of this tea was produced in 2009 and was very popular. Later 2012 and last edition in 2019.
Lao Te is made of excellent GuShu leaves from Menghai area and it uses leaves of all grades from small to big all mixed together. It was sourced with help of Dai People and produced by master BaoZhuo. His way of WoDoe (pile fermentation) is done so perfectly that there is no traces of unpleasant fermentation aromas and tea is very drinkable now. It’s full of sweetness depth and clarity.
