Very unusual and rare. This tea needs some story to explain its origin.
Taiwanese Master BaoZhuo used to live and produce tea in Yunnan for many years. He used to work with a farmer from YiWu who was establishing a new organic plantation. Plantation was established purely from the seed of an ancient tea trees from garden nearby. When Master BaoZhuo visited the newly established garden, the tea trees were only about 4-5 years old and the field was unmanaged, pristine clear and full of vivid energy. Because a farmer wanted to start to cultivate this garden he began to prune these young tea trees. Master BaoZhuo offered to buy all the material of firstly cut tea trees because as he said “even trees were still young they carried the powerful energy of their mother” (ancient tea trees). After processing, BaoZhuo brought this tea to Taiwan where he stored it in big clay jars until late 2025.
When he decided tea was ready he roasted it on low temperature.
Master BaoZhuo is one of the greatest masters of tea roasting in Taiwan and even though it sounds very unusual and wrong he is roasting Pu-Erh tea as well.

When I drank this tea for the first time I went through a strange journey.
Firstly it reminded me of WuYi Oolong, then Sheng Pu-Erh but not really.. roasted red?.. I started to feel uneasy about the fact I cannot put this tea into any “box”, where my mind would like to have it.
At this point I realized how ridiculous and limited my view is and I started to laugh about myself. I managed to give up any concepts and I didn’t try to put it into a box anymore. As soon as I shifted my mind, tea opened up and I was able to feel and fully appreciate it. My mind expanded and I felt deeply touched.
This is what makes person a master. Through his tea he expanded my limited vision and gave me a lesson.
Amen~
