Lan Tie (藍鐵) means "Blue Iron". 
 
This is artfully composed tea by Taiwanese Master Bao Zhuo, founder of JinMeiTang Company and one of my teachers. To make this tea he used most excellent 2007 spring tea leaves from several wild and natural planted tea gardens. Cakes are pressed tight and are made traditionally for long term ageing.
After nearly 20 years of dry storage in Taiwan (stored by the master himself) tea is more mellow but still has a lot of power to age for many more decades. 
 
Tasting note:
At first bitter and very strong with significant, powerful energy.  Bitterness quickly turns into deep sweetness which prevails as the long tea session goes on. Tea power is fading slowly and gradually. Body is happy as mind gets clear and calm.
